As someone living nearby – please do that. Amount of ZH plates cars going for a weekend to Ticino/Italy is just too high and traffic jams are hitting hard, just ensure safety. I really can imagine this to offload traffic.
I can’t wait to see how many people drive it like they’re blindfolded

Ok but please just please ban cars with „NL“ or „D“ plates from driving on it – but ESPECIALLY the „NL“

Some politicians seem to have problems reading the constitution. Also what a waste of money. The A2 over the Gotthard is one of the least used highways in all of Switzerland. There is literally only traffic a few times a year.
The guy who bought the old army bunker atop must be very happy about this.
How about they open the second tunnel faster instead of having this dangerous as fug 2 way 1 tunnel that can pipe up quickly
