  1. Look at what life is like in Ukraine for 34 years, there is no improvement and slavery, there is only one conclusion: business, where Ukrainians are criminals and terrorists, they wear Russian military uniforms and fight all over the world

  2. So, they threw a hissy-fit when tRump threatened steel and aluminum tariffs against them, but now they're doing the same thing to all non-EU exporters? Ce sont une bande d'hypocrites!

  3. I thought the EU promised wealth, growth and stability. Instead its Socialism Taxes, tariffs, red tape and decline.

  4. Wow, are you saying these are being protectionist? How dare they. WOW, these Europeans are such 2 faced snakes, on one hand screaming about tariffs, but on the other hand “protecting” their own industries.

  5. Well I guess tariffs are only bad if the US puts them on. The hypocrisy of the EU is stunning. I can't believe the EU will survive very much longer. Once it is gone there are a number of countries the US can do business with.

  6. for those asking ' what about Canada' , you'll hopefully notice these people say 'trump' and ' Usa Tariff ' not Canada. Canada can easily fall into the group looking to trade outside of Usa. Far as I have seen read, and researched this is still active.

The Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) aims to eliminate tariffs and reduce trade barriers, with 98% of EU tariffs on Canadian goods already eliminated, and a goal of 99% by 2024.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:

    CETA's Purpose:

The CETA is a comprehensive free trade agreement between Canada and the European Union (EU) designed to facilitate trade and investment by reducing tariffs and non-tariff barriers.

    Tariff Elimination:

CETA eliminates tariffs on 98% of EU tariff lines for Canadian goods, according to Global Affairs Canada.

The agreement aims to eliminate tariffs on almost all remaining tariff lines, reaching 99% by 2024.

Some tariffs on certain agricultural products and passenger vehicles are phased out over time.

    Non-Tariff Barriers:

CETA also addresses non-tariff barriers, such as rules of origin, import quotas, and technical barriers, to streamline trade.

    Benefits for Canadian Businesses:

CETA provides Canadian businesses with preferential access to the EU market.

It reduces costs and increases predictability for Canadian companies importing and exporting to and from the EU.

The agreement makes it easier for Canadian entrepreneurs to reach over half a billion new consumers in the EU.

    CETA's Impact:

CETA has had a major impact on Canadian business owners, allowing 98% of Canadian goods to enter the EU duty-free.

It has eliminated customs duties that were as high as 25%.

    Provisional Application:

CETA was provisionally applied on September 21, 2017, meaning that most of the agreement's provisions were put into effect before full ratification by all signatories.

    Further Information:

You can find specific tariff information for products exported to the EU on the Canadian Tariff Finder Website.

Global Affairs Canada provides detailed information about CETA.

It is though completely up to EU to continue this with Canada or not, and Canada continues to respect this offer and not abuse or break that trust.

  7. Hey EU Canada has extra steel and Aluminum if you want 😂😂 we have way more than the US Tariff free🤣🤣🤣 oh man i can't wait for Trumps new book "Whine Kampf" and "Wheres Hunter" is like the "Wheres Waldo" book series 😂😂😂

  8. Wouldn’t have been a good idea to have had some foresight. And produced a lot of our military equipment while we had very cheap Russian energy. Seems like a big missed opportunity.

  9. Sanity is being restored. We will drag Europe along kicking and screaming. What do you know, supporting jobs in your own country??? Well, that sounds kinda Trumpy so idk if Europe can handle it lol

  10. The EU are hypocrites when America does it where the bad guy. When Europe does it it’s in there best interest. Remind me of a saying “ Europe’s problems are the worlds problem, but the world’s problem aren’t Europe’s”

  11. Yep the way china and Russia are behaving, it’s best for each nation to foster there domestic productions of essential because if war breaks out they stand to be at a disadvantage. History shows the side that produce the most and last the longest wins the war.

  12. No country should be looked down on for wanting to keep industry for their country, in their country. Imports should be for items and resources that your country lack and you trade something you have in abundance to a country that lack that resource.

  13. No surprise, European's talk free trade when they are exporting to the US, but are and have been restricting imports for decades.

You are what we said you are.
