How many times am I allowed to hit the snooze button? I’m on 5 so far and probably should be leaving in ten minutes.
Even Monday isn’t going to ruin my mood after a wonderful date on Saturday.
It’s also payday tomorrow.
My cat has gone missing (she’s probably stuck in a shed somewhere, it’s happened before, she’s a lovely, but nosey cow), I’ve had 4 hours sleep, I woke up at 6am, went looking for the cat again, stepped in a bog, the car keeps overheating for whatever reason, and didn’t start yesterday so who’s to say if I’ll even get where I’m going today.
To top that off it’s my first day of work at a new job, so if anyone needs me I’m gonna be downing coffee like there’s no tomorrow and maybe crying in a corner, before I have to leave. Pass the tissues and ice cream.

My second kidney stone has made itself apparent today! It’s in the other kidney, so it’s gonna hurt like the first one all over again
So tired. Had about 3 hrs sleep.
Husband having his appendix out this morning.
I’m at work cos I’m stupid. Manager did say I could just go home but all I’d be doing would be sitting around at home, so I may as well be at work.
I forgot to put my clothes in the dryer and I’m gonna have to put on a slightly damp top so I can go to work on time.
Uuuurrrrgh. The autism in the house was awake bright and early at 4am. I’m going to make cinnamon pancakes and have another coffee.
going from a night shift. not looking forward to rush hour train passengers.
It’s very early days into a new relationship for me, but it’s been a while since I have felt this effortlessly happy 🥰
I also start a new job today, because I’m not one to do these things by halves!
Got to go to the Jobcentre for my fortnightly appointment. Not looking forward to it as they keep trying to make me go on courses I don’t need/want to do.
Also have to hand in my CV at a pub in town that has changed companies and are advertising for daytime weekday staff after sacking half of their old team.
Had the week booked off from work and spent most of it in bed with what I think was covid. Still feel a bit rough and can’t smell anything. Back to work today, feeling a little down.
Waiting for confirmation today that our house sale/purchase is definitely completing tomorrow. House is all packed up, dropping a set of keys at the estate agent this morning, last trip to the tip. Our cats are seriously unimpressed with everything being packed away, it’s not going to be pretty tomorrow. They’ll be furious. Think I’m stressing more about getting them to the new house and how they’ll react than anything else at the minute.
Is it home time yet?
Couldn’t sleep, left the house with two minutes to spare, train was delayed, then missed the fast connection to the office, now stuck on the stopper service so if I’m lucky I might make it into the office by 9.
Please let someone have put the kettle on …
Went out and rana half marathon distance on Saturday and Sunday mornings this weekend, but hadn’t properly hydrated or carb loaded before hand AND I was on the beers Friday and Saturday night so I’m feeling absolutely wiped out today.
Had major surgery on Thursday and the recovery is going well but oh god so slow. I’ve an itch I can’t scratch and dressing packed in a wound I can’t clean for another two weeks.
But I’m thankful the surgeon was great at what they do.
