  1. Well they won’t be talking to the orange turd and company for many months, lol.

  2. Yes but only one didn’t ask Trump what to say first.

  3. It sounds like that is what almost all Canadians think at this point.

  4. If only all our provinces leaders respected our sovereignty: Cries in Albertan. (Only crying becasue that bitch ain’t gonna serve a single day in prison for treason)

  5. So nice for PP to join the sovereignty train… Woo woo.

  6. Immediately after Trump made his bogus claim about how the tariffs were in some way related to fentanyl coming over the border, Carney’s opponent Pierre Poilievre confirmed his desire to be a good little vassal and bootlicker, and started campaigning on a “stop the drugs” slogan. He immediately abandoned it when he found out that Canadians are not interested in getting tossed around by the US. He has since been clumsily trying to distance himself from Trump, but thankfully it seems like Canadians are not falling for it.

  7. Iys good to set boundaries at the beginning, but I’m pretty sure most people know that Trump has no respect for anything valuable. Printed paper is his one true gawd.

  8. Certainly Putin made promise to Trump during their phone talk last time to help him acquire Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal, to form a coalition of invaders and divide the world as they please, so Trump now orders Witkoff to completely cave in to Putin’s demands and sell out Ukraine totally by forcing it to yield lands.

It’s just the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact of 21st century.

  9. I believe that Carney said that and meant it. I don’t believe Poilievre meant a word of it, even if he said it.

  10. Why would they give up free healthcare?

    Trump is a buffoon.

  11. It’s an interesting way to avoid having to make any deals with trump.

  12. The USA used to be like that cool older brother who had lots of money, a nice car, pretty girlfriends and good music.

Then you find out he’s in debt and owes everybody money, has a substance abuse problem, his car is rusty, he can’t actually read and he also beats up little kids in the playground for their lunch money.

  13. Carney said he expected respect before he would speak with tRump. Pollieve parrotted it.

  14. That last line about Poilevre. “Elon Musk, who is playing an integral role in the Trump administration, has endorsed and praised him.”

Brings to mind an old saying ‘with friends like him who needs enemies’ not sure of its origin if anyone can help?

  15. No way Carney what a brilliant insight s/
Vote Conservative. Canada needs a real leader and real change not the same Liberal government that has been steering the ship into the rocks for the last 10 years.
    Pierre for PM. 🇨🇦

  16. Or else what? What is Canada willing to do to the United States when the US shits all over Canadian sovereignty? Make a couple of stern speeches? LOL.

  17. We should at-least trick Trump. Fix your health care corruption and we’ll think about it 😉

  18. Less corruption in government = more money goes back into Canada. USA has a huge corruption problem resulting in the need to cut everything possible to balance the sheets…Canada doesn’t really have this problem…

  19. Ladies and gentlemen let the liberal echo chamber begin!

  20. Correction:

    >prime minister and his opponent

    It’s – opponent***S***

    We’re not the US…not a 2-party system.

Basically ALL of the (plural) opponents here say Trump must respect our sovereignty.

  21. Pierre would bend over for Trump like Trump does for Putin.

  22. Trump literally respects nothing. Not a single thing. Noda. Zip.  He is petulant.

  23. it all seemed ok and implied that they are both anti trump etc. until the very last sentence of “Elon musk has endorsed and praised Poilievre”. that’s a no then ..
