  1. Ya’ll know there’s the happiness index only because Bhutan actually got ranked the happiest country and the west got offended and wasn’t having none of that so they created the happiness index to put western countries at the top right?

  2. It does put things into a grim outlook of the rest of the world in that knowing that everywhere else it only goes downhill.

I mean things aren't terrible and things could be a lot worse, but your telling me this is the peak and the best there currently is?

I guess that I just struggles to understand the concept that there are people who live in first world countries, who has it a lot lot lot worse and from a Finnish perspektiv lives in absolut misery but simultaneously are educated, has acces to information on the internet, dosen't live in a tyrannical regime and yet haven't started an uprising or revolution?

  3. When Mexico is in the top 10 of any happiness ranking, you know something is wrong. In short, happiness is determined not by the quality of a country, but by the character of its people

  4. According to my dna test i'm also Finnish. I think my ancestor Rovael is actually from Tallinn/Reval. In Dutch Reval was called Rovael.

If there are no mosquitoes in Tallinn, maybe I can convince my husband to buy me a trip.

  5. As a Finnish person, i am just baffled that we have been the happiest country for the sixth time in a row, which is funny to me but i will still take the first place no matter what πŸ™‚

  6. Good on you Finland. We in Mexico came at 10 on this measurement this year. Also great to see our causins from Costa Rica at number 6. Pura vida hermanos Ticos desde Mexico Lindo y Querido 😊

  7. Happiest but high in suicide as per report. How that they are happiest wherein Finnish people. Are not sociable according to report.

  8. The country with the shortest memory. They have already forgotten their 0 medal at the last summer Olympic games .I suppose that gold fishes are the happiest animals and the elephants the saddest

  9. i don't know how we do it, maybe living next to russia makes us stay realistic and honest
it all could be gone tomorrow

  10. A small country with a small population who has not up until this point paid for its own defense. It does not compare to a mid sized country and certainly not a large population.

  11. I live in Finland the inquiry done here is not about happiness as the English word means, it means content, Finland's population is around a bit more than 5 million and holds almost 900 000 poor people; 1 of every 3 adults feels lonely suicide among young people is very high, and there is a lot of alcoholism and drug use, is just all propaganda, or a big misunderstood with a do not know what goal this rank.
