I like in general environmental issues the globe needs to be cared for that is a no brainer.I feel that the Green party has many well meaning members but I feel the party has hijacked green ideology from the likes of Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and other enlightened non for profit environmental groups.
As it stands the Green party in Ireland is more of a paid gun for hire on contract to a few investment companies or other profiteers while at the same time getting some tarmac layed along the coastline of the capital for a small amount of bike riders and walkers annually.
Completely agree. The era of cheap air travel has to end. Unless there is a massive technological breakthrough, people will just have to fly less.
