Russian social media say that Slavic balkans are protesting NATO and support Russian invasion.
So I’m seeing a photo of protest with banners in bulgarian language popping up in the social media (even mom of my ex posted it, saying that “finally Europe is seeing the truth”.) Banners seem to be Anti-nato and anti – Ukrainian government. Is that recent protests? If yes- how massive were they?
First time seeing it.
Edit: Haven’t seen any protests against NATO and pro-russian
Nope. The vast majority condemns the Russian invasion just like most normal people in the World. We do have hard-core pro-Russian parties that are also anti-NATO and anti-EU.
Sadly it is we have a bunch of paid actors by russia and a lot more sheep to follow their bullshit
Edit: it was So small that I can’t find anything in local media, but there’s plenty in Russian propaganda websites. Seems likening was organized by Russia.
Edit 2: it’s actually 2015
This specific image is real, and also there is a fair amount of support for Russia, including politicians… However…
The picture is from 2014, and the number of Russia support is in the minorities.
Currently the conflict is used mostly for political and personal gains from some. Majority doesn’t support Russia, including current government.
