It’s so important for Europe and Canada to understand that under the present US administration, they must seek absolute independence. Europe, Canada, and Ukraine can form their own alliance with independent, manufacturing, military, and trade agreements. Absolute cooperation between European members is essential. Americans can restore former alliances when they elect a more sensible administration.
America has spent many decades building it’s multi-trillion dollar defense industry that makes crazy amounts of money from selling weapons & machines overseas, with long service life maintenance fees. It’s a large chunk of the amount that NATO allies and others spent on their commitment (even if they were not hitting the expected target). Trump is unravelling all that hard work by showing that America is an unpredictable supplier who will cut you off because one man takes petty offense at the smallest perceived slights.
It’s madness the amount of people he will put out of a job, the amount of money he will stop flowing into America and how he is crushing whole sectors of the economy. While at the same time making basic goods more expensive for Americans through tariffs. For the people that don’t yet realize this, wake the f### up.
It’s unsafe for any country other than America to rely on American military equipment. Can’t wait for Germany to introduce a new model of the Messerschmitt or the Heinkel Volksjäger.
Yeah, now please relay that to Canadian politicians before we proceed with the same mistake.
The issue is that no single country is immune to what has been happening in the US. Brexit for UK is another example.. We are starting to see similar trends in Canada especially with Alberta. One election is enough to flip some countries direction completely.

Its time other NATO countries stop subsidizing the US MIlitary-Industrial Complex and enriching their own economy, with some homegrown and joint programs between realiable Allies as well.
Also, boycott any travel to the US and bring their tourism industry and their economy down to its knees.
It takes time to build but only a moment to destroy. That is what Trump accomplished.
If US ever regain its senses, it will have to adjust to new realities of its own making.

Since the life time of a weapon system is measured in decades, and a president like Trump might be elected anytime again, using US weapons should be a no-no.

It’s not just US experiencing this. Poland, Hungary, hell Paris is going through some shit too. A lot of citizens in European countries are over whelmed by immigration and religious conflict flooding their cities out numbering their citizens clashing. Right now US is just a united opinion until their own local problems flare up too and the ones in power will be discarded for the ones that say they will change it. It always happens that way. Stuff builds, breaks, flips, builds, breaks, and flips.
I mean….for the most part American warfare technology is top notch. Some do think this is as big a flex as other countries think. When shit ingots the fan we will be back to suppling weapons to the folks who don’t want them now. Javelin missile anyone??
The brilliance of trump. Now imagine this goes for all things coming out of the US. The US would suffer immensely without foreign markets.
The U.S. is way ahead in military tech because it pumps massive money into its military every year, no matter who’s in charge. They’ve been doing this for decades, always pushing for the latest and greatest technology. Europe could spend more, but the U.S. has had such a huge head start with crazy funding and constant upgrades, making it almost impossible for anyone to catch up. Their consistent investment is what keeps them miles ahead.
There is nothing comparable to the F-35s. Nothing.
The U.S. has 11 aircraft carriers, which is almost as many as the rest of the world combined and are in the process of making more. The U.S. has just been investing longer than others which is why theirs nothing comparable to their tech and arsenal.
