It is about time that US politicians started to stand up to Trump.
Yay… being a resolution the US house and president have no say and while it might seem toothless because it’s more or less a statement of the Senate current opinion, it will nonetheless force senators to go on the record over this issue

Well, this is a big shift since Trump likes to talk about carving up territories between Russians and Americans.
It looks like the wind is blowing against Trump – considering the Q1 is coming up hard and a lot of people are going to be in a lot of trouble over a lot of money.
Both Dems and GOP will capitulate to Trump. I guarantee it.
This does require the US political class to have a a bare minimum of spine. I think this will come to nothing.
