The Kosovo national team won an extremely important victory on Sunday in Murcia, Spain, against Iceland, triumphing 3-1.
The ‘Dardans’ defeated the Icelanders with an aggregate score of 5-2 after two matches, thus securing qualification to League B of the Nations League.
This was described as a historic achievement for Kosovo, due to the fact that this will be the first time we will compete in this league.
Seven years ago, Kosovo began its journey in the Nations League by competing in League D, while now they have managed to secure a place in League B, a sign of great development over these years.
