  1. > Caroline Hollick, a former drama boss at Channel 4, has described Gwyneth Paltrow’s remarks about intimacy coordinators as “irresponsible.”

    > Hollick, who now works for Peter Chernin’s North Road, said at drama festival Series Mania Tuesday that Paltrow’s comments were “quite an irresponsible thing to say.”

  2. Older celebs keep trying to shit talk intimacy coordinators to seem cool. Like doing their own stunts, they seem to forget they might not be the only ones to benefit from a professional coordinating a sex scene.

  3. She started goop why would anyone think anything she says would be responsible

  4. Wasn’t she one of the ones caught up in the Weinstein issue and Brad risked his career. U saying something to him to never tough her again

    How shameless of her

  5. She gave an honest answer. Idk where we went wrong and honesty started being a bad and frowned upon thing. We as a society would be doing a lot better if we appreciated a little more honesty here and there.

  6. I hate defending Goop, but actors have every right to say that something intended to help and protect them is not actually helping and protecting them.

Goop has been navigating Hollywood starting as a young woman and has experienced the dangers (sexual harassment and assault). She has every right to an opinion on the subject. Other actors can have other opinions.

If Goop is doing a scene with another actor who feels an intimacy coordinator is vital and Goop refuses, then that’s a problem. But it sounds like an intimacy coordinator is simply not her personal preference.

  7. Clickbait headline. She didn’t say anything about “intimacy coordinators.” She said something true about her feelings as regards *one particular experience* she had with *one particular intimacy coordinator.*

  8. Nothing burger this seems like “we used to walk 15 miles in the snow”. They are doing an intimate scene and they are getting intimate step back

  9. I for years thought Gwyneth was a shy type person who was very attractive when younger to whom wasn’t exactly a powerhouse of range within acting and got by on her early career fame/looks. However, she is one of the most smug, nasty, seemingly angry within herself and projects out anger to others to cover for said anger I’ve ever had the misfortune to come across articles like these. What a nasty person she seems.

  10. Do people only read the headlines now? There is a full article which is based on another article that is hardly representative of the clickbait title here.
