  8. Does anyone know on what legal grounds (if any) the USA thinks it can annex Greenland? Why can’t, say, Mexico annex the USA?

  12. No amount of whiny, harmony-seeking statements by friendly, pacifistic politicians will change US politicians’ actions. They will continue to laugh and jest and threaten and be encouraged to keep on trolling.

    They don’t respect Europe. They hate Europe. Proof is evident from the messages in the recent Hegseth-gate Signal/war plan affair.

    The solution is simple: declare United States diplomats and US tourists unwelcome, cancel existing visas, deny them new visas, send current tourists and visitors home, reject political visits.

    If anyone tries to enter Greenland without visa (which they won’t have) then do the same as the US are doing and lock them up for at least 2 weeks.

    Give ’em a taste of their own medicine. Do to them what they would, without a flinch or a second of reflection, do to anyone else.

    Tell them this will continue until the US publicly and officially apologize for their hateful trolling, and promise to stop any further mention of buying or “one way or another” taking over Greenland.

    They will not understand any other way.

    It’s OK to be peaceful, but you CAN NOT HANDLE BULLIES BY BEING PEACEFUL AND CONSTANTLY TAKING ONE MORE HIT.

  17. One way to deal with this is just to treat them like any other tourist. No government people meeting them at the airport, etc.

  19. Uhm, when they come uninvited, why not ignore them? They can stay at the hotel, or go sightseeing, for all I care? Why should an official meet with them?

    If you want to feed them only bread and water, or shave their heads, then go for it, give them a taste of their own medicine and show the US that they can’t just storm into your sovereign territory whenever they want and claim it as their own.
