Tourist arrivals in Slovenia fell 1.4% year-on-year to 297,850 in February 2025, following a 9.1% increase in the previous month.
This marks the first decline in five periods, as the number of domestic tourists went down 4.7% to 119,401, while foreign tourists rose 1% to 178,449.
Foreign visitors decreased from Serbia (-24%), and Italy (-8.3%), while it rose from Croatia (+9%), Hungary (+5.9%), and Austria (+2.8%).
The highest number of tourist overnight stays was recorded in the urban municipalities (103.2%), coastal municipalities (+102.3%), and the capital (+99.8%).
