My nan died yesterday, so we're going through all her old photos, and I'm not sure why but this picture was just printed on a piece of paper. We think it was her brothers.
The only things I can assume about this photo is it was sometime during or before the 60's looking at the fashion and design of the bus, and I'd guess somewhere in Wolverhampton since the bus says "Congratulations Wolves". Maybe Wolves had recently won a football championship or something?
If anyone has any clues about the photo, that would be awesome, and highly appreciated 👍

Interestingly it looks like the Wolves did not win any major cups/titles between 1961 and 1969

I would assume it’s from before 1970. Perhaps the 59/60 season FA cup?
EDIT: yes, this is the same bus!

So the photo is from May 1960.

After a bit of sleuthing, this is on North Street In the centre of Wolverhampton. I’ve lived here for 30+ years and thought I recognised the window line. I used to drink in the Dog and Doublet just opposite, and I do enjoy a pint or three at the Lych Gates ’round the corner from there.
I have a Google Maps link below:-

The place has changed quite a bit – the area where Jaegers was replaced by something in the late 60’s, but that’s “progress” for ya!
Sunday, May 8, 1960: A Don Everall coach carried a triumphant Wolves team through the cheering thousands who greeted them after their FA Cup final victory over Blackburn Rovers at Wembley in 1960. Two coaches in the Everall fleet are set aside for the almost exclusive use of Wolves and West Bromwich Albion teams. They are specially equipped for a relaxed journey and they incorporate the colours of the two clubs. Deployed from three bases, at Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and Stourbridge, the firm’s fleet averages 80 vehicles
