    *”This trial is political. No matter what decision is made, we are innocent. We are being held here unlawfully. The Turkish youth who love their country and fight for their rights at the age of 21-22 are being faced with imprisonment. The situation we are witnessing is both ridiculous and terrifying. Everything will be beautiful—but only if we continue to fight. If we don’t, it won’t happen.”*

    **A note independent from the article:** Police usually release people from detention in 24 to 48 hrs. Though there are some arrests, he wasn’t a prominent resister. He was only imprisoned because of what he did 6 years ago – approaching Ekrem Imamoglu to shout “everything will be very beautiful”, which was embraced by the campaign. That’s pure revenge against a young man, by the regime itself.

  7. That´s funny. Europe´s eastern flank is covered by a country that´s quickly becoming as bad as our adversaries to the East and West.
