Day 7, anyone still testing positive after the 7 days?

  1. My friend was the same, but she tested negative later on the 7th day.

Has anyone elses mouth broken out in sores? My face is swollen and I’m on tablets for it, I haven’t had anything like this in years and years.

  2. Yes I did on Monday. Tested today and it’s gone :). I think after 7 days if you’ve no symptoms you can leave isolation but just wear a mask.

  3. I also have covid. I spoke to my doc about this yesterday. He told me that the level of contagion is greatly reduced after 5 days but if at day 7 an antigen test still shows positive then its okay to get back to work, etc. Just stay away from high risk people (elderly etc) for a further 3 days

  4. I’m still testing positive and I’m on day 13. I rang the HSE live number and they told me that it’s not unheard of to test positive for weeks after. I thought that was just with PCRs but apparently not. They gave me the all clear to go out but I’m still a bit paranoid as my dad is nearly 70 and not in amazing health. I also got COVID toe. Didn’t even know it was a thing but it is

  5. I didn’t test daily, but I didn’t test until day 10, which then showed negative. I tested on day 10 because then it was the recommended time to quarentine.

I personally wouldn’t risk going out yet, but you can always double check with your GP.

  6. I was positive for 13 days at the end of January. On the last day I tested positive in the morning and negative in the evening 🤷🏻‍♀️ your line still looks pretty solid, mine was very faint on the last two days so I’d say you’ll still test positive for a few days yet
