This is really going to start going nuts when the batteries really start coming online, both for the utility and the home/business. As the home batteries become more practical, consumers need access to cheaper pricing during the sunshine hours, so they can suck up all the solar and then turn off all their consumption when the sun goes down and run their home off the battery.
Despite this still the second highest cost of electricity in the nation. 31c/KWH national average is 20c/KWH.
