Or “anywhere here is thanks fine” because you’ve had a few
If you don’t start by saying “had a busy night?” Then they charge you double
Absolutely true.
I’m far more likely to say “No I live there *pointing park outside” i’m paying to walk as little distance as possible
I say just here is fine and I’m British
Back in the the early 2000’s when you had to make sure you had cash for the taxi I was sat watching the little red LED number tick up to the exact amount of money I had in my pocket after a night out in Newcastle. As soon as it ticked over to the amount I had I said “anywhere here is fine thanks”. He was a little confused why I lived in an industrial estate but it was only a 25 min walk away from there so he got me most of the way home.
