Police Scotland body-worn cameras roll out begins by abz_eng Tags:ScotlandUnited Kingdom 10 comments >Chief constable Jo Farrell said there will be a gradual increase in officers with body-worn cameras across Scotland over the next 18 months. 18 months? should be a heck of a lot sooner! Hopefully this will encourage them to get around to a video reporting system like the rest of the UK has. Hopefully, stop’s duplication of report’s and their lie’s. Fucking hell why don’t they have them already I’ll be honest, I just assumed they already had this. This is great progress. It helps improve accountability, record evidence of crimes, and settle disputes. Still work to be done though, because what does this matter if the cameras just “got lost” or “forgot to record that day”… What are the consequences when a camera “magically” doesnt record at certain moments? This is going to be hilarious. I’m 100% certain I’ve seen officers with these already Watch police assault convictions fall dramatically! Comments are closed.
