The classical capitalist trope of changing jobs to improve the conditions of your life, ignores that most people just can’t afford to do so. Rent has to be paid. Food has to be paid and indeed health coverage. The social programs one could fall back on are being gutted too.
This is slavery with an office pingpong table.
If you don’t want us to job hop, maybe give us raises that actually match our contributions? If I was getting a 10-15% raise instead of one that barely keeps up with inflation, I’d be a much more “loyal” employee.
That has to be one of the most toxic things I have ever read. It was saying all the quiet things out loud. I’m surprised they didn’t go on to praise hiring visa workers because it is so wonderful for the business because you can pay them less, deny them as much of a raise, and work them harder because you can always threaten them with deportation if they become unemployed without a sponsor for their visa …
What a POS. And they donate huge money to Wisconsin Republicans.
“There’s absolutely no way they ‘jump around’ because we are a lousy company to work for. This is definitely a problem that is completely out of our hands. We are victims.”
Is this author a real person? I will be ashamed to put my name and picture. I am curious about the setting in which the author of this text is working.
Did this company literally take out an ad to tell people, “We’re not a good company to work for?”
“It’s hard to build a winning team when the rookies you sign think they’re free agents before they even take the field.”
This doesn’t make any fucking sense. If you sign someone, they’re not a free agent. Maybe it’s hard to build a winning team because your workplace is toxic and you sound like a complete jerk?
Companies aren’t loyal to people, so people aren’t loyal to companies.
Want to fix that?
1. Build in a 2 month notice period or a 2 month severance into all your contracts.
2. Never do layoffs, unless it’s the only way to save the business.
3. Terminate employees with dignity. Not in the ,,come in the morning to find that your access badge is not working” way.
4. Invest into having good management. Employees often leave bad managers, not bad jobs.
5. Promote internally. Yes it is more costly – do it anyway.
6. Give yearly raises matching inflation.
#facts suck !
People who change companies every 2 years make 50% more over their career.
Lol 🤣
Billionaires spend billions on why billionaires are God and should stay and be billionaires forever 😱

Any politician against universal healthcare is a psychopath
Why do they jump around?
I’ll give you five reasons:
1. Because the competitors pay them more.
2. Because the competitors pay them more.
3. Because the competitors pay them more.
4. Because the competitors pay them more.
5. Because the competitors pay them more.
Let me know if you need more reasons; I have them.
WOW I think i’ll avoid buying from ULINE after reading that trainwreck.
ULine is family owned and super religious. Not surprised
This company is trash. They should be taxed into bankruptcy. Please don’t support. Ask your employer to find another vendor. They are obviously making too much money off the backs of their employees.
