  13. I think Russia believes Trump(!?) would be able to pressure Europe to not only lift sanctions, but actually start buying Russian gas flowing through the restarted Nord Stream pipelines.

    Wth are they thinking?

    We should use the sanctions as leverage. And we should clearly say we are ready to keep them 25 years or 100 years. And the length of time the sanctions are in place is dependent on the behavior _today_. We should also clearly say that we’re more than ready to invest in Ukraine destroying the Russian economy with drones on oil refinieries for as long as it takes for them to consider this.
