From "Warschau unter deutscher Herrschaft" by Ludwig Fischer. Obviously Nazi propaganda (the book has a portrait of Hans Frank on the first page), nevertheless interesting to read with many pictures from the time.

The focal point of the new German residential or settlement district will no longer be, as in the past, the church with its marketplace, now somewhat set aside, but rather the office of the District Governor (Kreishauptmann). As a representative of the authority of the Party, he simultaneously symbolizes the unity of the aligned German community. In front of the main administrative building of the District Governor's office, there will be a large square surrounded by trees or green spaces, serving as an assembly area for rallies or troop movements. This square will be encircled by a number of public buildings. Around the building complex of the district administration, individual German settlement houses will be arranged in a spacious layout, each including garden plots of varying sizes as required. Near the German residential district, schools, homes for the Hitler Youth (HJ) and League of German Girls (BDM), as well as sports facilities, will be established, while the commercial district will open its doors in another part of the city.

Apart from the German center of the new city, a residential area for Poles will remain. This separation expresses, on the one hand, that they do not form any part of the distinctly German communal life, but on the other hand, they should remain readily available for productive work at all times.

Once surveying is complete and the construction restrictions are lifted, the building of German residential areas and settlements will promptly commence in all districts of the region. In these German residential areas and settlements, Reich Germans and ethnic Germans will no longer feel as if they are living in a foreign country, but rather, they will feel as at home in these German surroundings.

At the same time, these new German residential areas will represent a cultural achievement of German identity, creating a modern, architecturally beautiful living culture in the spirit of National Socialism, as opposed to the tasteless and cultureless residential construction style of the Polish state. Just as the castles of the Teutonic Knights and the trading outposts of the Hanseatic League previously bore witness to German culture, these settlements will bear testimony for centuries to the flourishing age of National Socialism.

Didn't quite work out.

  1. Train to Baku would be nice and jekaterinenburg is further north than Moscow? Seems like Warsaw for the capital would be kinda nice

    Lol

  3. So basically Germans were going to repeat Polish policy on Eastern lands (so called “kresy”) in a less humane, brutal manner. But somewhat similar.
