  1. MAGAs still don’t understand why this is bad. Their current thinking is “well it was a staffer not Waltz who added the people and so it’s his fault”

Then they also give Hesgeth a free pass because it wasn’t his incompetence that led them to being caught 😂

Like how can you be as stupid as the MAGAs? Hesgeth sharing classified info that risks operational security is the whole issue.

This is barely a scandal if the Hesgeth content isn’t in the chat because JD Vance saying he hates Europe isn’t a big deal because we knew that already..

  2. Pretty sure every single one that testified yesterday perjured themselves over this

  3. Disgraceful. This administration is a global embarrassment, we are not longer a feared superpower but a disorganized and chaotic mess.

Wouldn’t be surprised if our foreign enemies beef up their military operations knowing the DoD, CIA, NSA are being run by a bunch of idiots.

  4. Dude’s going to have a “heart attack” in a few weeks

  5. This is fuckin crazy man. If the Obama/Biden admin had done this, Fox News would be frothing at the mouth for a month straight over their heads on a spike

  6. Officials lied to Congress. Ya know what will happen? Nothing. Democrats can do nothing in the face republican fascism. Nothing.

  7. If you look at the screenshots provided by the Atlantic, you can see that all members of the group were able to add new members. If Goldberg wanted to, he could have added whoever he wanted to the group chat. The add member button would not have been there if the group chat was restricted to only admins adding new members.

  8. Meanwhile on r/con: top article is “This can’t be real: how Atlantic got a hold of these texts” published by, and I kid you not:

    India Times

For those that don’t know, here’s their contact info:

    Corporate Office
    Times Internet
    Ecstasy IT Park
    Plot 391, Udyog Vihar
    Phase 3, Gurugram

    🤦🏻‍♀️

I guess they will read whatever confirm their biases.

  9. Conducting high level national security business on unsecured personal phones, using a commercial messaging app?

It’s just a glitch. I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson.

Seriously, I am gobsmacked by the idea that anyone could be at this level doing something this stupid. Even *I*, a lowly nobody, gives *some* thought to security of my personal devices. They gave no thought to it. None. Zero. Zilch.

And we are supposed to trust them with the security affairs of our nation? I don’t think so…

I would like to have someone ask these idiots if they have 2FA configured on their apps and devices, just to see the look of confusion sweeping over their faces.

  10. Lets see them get nothing for perjury, bunch of ass clowns

  11. They’re trying to spin “we will attack this target at this location at this time” as not war plans!?

I knew it would take incredible mental fortitude to survive this presidency with your sanity in tact, but I’m not entirely sure I have it after this. I can’t deal with this level of stupidity for another (minimum) 3+ years

  12. Wait…  Are they describing a double tap?  So not just leaking war plans, leaking war crimes.

  13. I’m glad we just watched them get called out, lie about it fully knowing they would get caught, and then got caught.

Our admin is less responsible than my 7 year old.

  14. >”It wasn’t classified because it was supposed to be autodeleted, but now that there’s a permanent record it’s classified. So, we can charge the journalist for espionage.”

  15. we can go on about the perjury, but they do not care. They, with even their leader, breaks the law without caring, even gives awards and pardons violent criminals who beat cops and storm our capital. They do not even follow orders by Judges, so they will not care one bit how much the left screams about perjury.

  16. > Alina Habba, counselor to President Donald Trump, spoke to reporters Wednesday and said journalists were** “making a big to do about nothing.”**

Holy fuck is she that dumb? She thinks that’s what is meant by “making much ado about nothing “

  17. Maybe no immediate consequences, but this will all make great ads for the mid terms and hopefully swing the pendulum back.

  18. It’s interesting to lurk in the conservative sub right now. They are all for the department of education going away, but many of them are against the Canada stuff and think the signal leak is crazy. But to say any of this, they must first say “I love what they are doing besides this one thing…” Otherwise they will get kicked out. I think they are realizing they are in a cult because they are realizing they have to word their disapproval a certain way.

  19. Tulsi Gabbard is fucking scary. Her face is a mask, but inside she’s wondering how she can arrange to have her challengers fall out of windows.

  20. “We are currently clean on OPSEC” is probaly the most ironic thing I’ve seen in years, since you know: *I’m* seeing it.

  21. >Waiting a few weeks or a month does
    not fundamentally change the calculus.
2 immediate risks on waiting: 1) this
leaks, and we look indecisive; 2) Israel
takes an action first – or Gaza cease
fire falls apart – and we don’t get to
start this on our own terms. We can
    manage both.

Lmao both happened oopsie daisy peter warmonger.

  22. Can you just imagine the uproar on Fox News (probably by some of these same people) if this had happened under a Kamala Harris or Biden presidency? They would be demanding blood by now. This is nowhere close to Clinton’s email server bullshit.

  23. “My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We’re bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We’re coming in from the north, below their radar.”

    “When will you be back?”

    “I can’t tell you that. It’s classified.”

  24. The conservative sub is claiming these are not war plans because detailed coordinates and ID of targets isn’t mentioned in the chat.

In their view, this is an egregious lapse of judgment, but not as bad as Hillary’s mails and should be forgiven with a tap on the shoulder for now. Some even suggest letting them go because they learnt their lesson, and only firing them if they repeat this lapse. Of course, we all know what will happen when the next lapse inevitably occurs.

To their credit, some conservatives at least seem outraged and are demanding the head of Walz. Just Walz though. No blowback on Vance or Trump

  25. These lying under oath traitors need to be put in prison

  26. Michael waltz is going on TV saying he don’t know how the journalist “gained access” to the chat. Bro your the one who f’d up and inadvertently invited him to it.

  27. If this was under Obama or Biden republicans would be excreting body fluids out of every orifice on their bodies both in pleasure and in rage

  28. The Ukrainians have a saying about the Russians that seems to also apply to the GOP “We are so lucky they are so stupid”.
