Hi, non Italian here. 👋 So I was casually scrolling through Google maps at random parts of the world and found this interesting thing where two highways meet and don't connect to each other despite having lots of land around. This is the first time I see something like this. Is there simply no demand for an interchange here?

  1. Well for starters they’re two different kind of roads and handled by different companies, SS is a slower road with no tolls

The exit for Cerignola is north of this crossing, and there isn’t anything nearby to exit for

  2. Perché una è un autostrada a pagamento, mentre l’altra è una strada statale non a pagamento.
