  1. It went unpaid because we thought we could get away with it, don’t make the mistake that this is a recent debt and not from the 70s.

    If this case hadn’t been so high profile then I’m sure we would have still ignored it and NZR would be languishing in jail right now.

  2. Didnt Iran basically steal the oil that the British discovered and built to rig? That sounds like theft to me.

    I have no sympathy for this woman. She shouldnt have gone to Iran and we shouldnt be expected to pay a ransom to some rogue state, that sends militias to create ethnic wars.
