  4. They were the crew of an M88 tank recovery vehicle. They may have gone into the water.

  5. Military training area is surrounded by roads, they won’t cross to Belarus before crossing asphalt road.
    Also, whole Lithuania is small, farthest point from Belarus border is like 300-350km.
    This military training area has some nice pristine lakes with beavers and a lot of fish. Spent couple of weekends there in 2003-2005. No idea if it’s still semi-legal to go through.

  9. The crew of an M88 Hercules armoured recovery vehicle are missing. This is essentially a tow truck for tanks in battle built on an M60 Patton hull. It’s believed that while sent out of retrieve a vehicle they accidentally drove into a swamp and drowned.

  14. They were on exercises and found some mushrooms to add to their MREs. They’ll come down after a day or so.
