  12. If you look at the pattern of Russia’s wars in Europe: South Ossetia, Crimea, Donbas, General invasion of Ukraine etc. Basically they have been starting a new war every 3 to 5 years. 

    I suspect that, even if peace is agreed, we will be fighting a new war with Russia within a decade. Russia has forced Europe into an arms race.

They’ve been attacking our infrastructure, they (SWR) killed people on our ground and pushed drug trafficking, they interfere with our elections and sabotage critical infrastructure and and and.   18. Yes, lots of stern written letters that will be the Western Nato response while Baltics, Poland and Romanian citizens are dying. There is plenty of historical evidence to show there is no appetite for Western EU powers to even save the Czech Republic let alone countries more eastern than that. Ask how many French, Brits, Dutch, Germans are willing to die to protect Poland, Romania or Lithuania. You will be shocked! 0 that’s how many!

    Which is why we build our own defence, we need to continue to engage in the Bucharest 9 format, and, I can only dream, Poland and Romania develop tactical nuclear weapons. Poland has the funds, Romania has the power plant to do it. Let’s talk, and get the Baltics involved and we can build enough weapons to dissuade anyone, including other Europeans from ever setting foot in Eastern Europe again.

    The only way to peace in Eastern Europe is an Eastern European Nuclear Force capable of striking Russian Army positions deep in Russia.

  20. As a Finn, if the Baltics are ever invaded, I hope we have the courage to march onto St. Petersburg and bomb that place to the ground. We are not that fond of most of the Nato, but the Baltics and Nordics are worth defending to the last man, for they are our kin.

  30. My mother was first generation Polish American. She learned the language (my gm spoke it more than English) and went to Poland for the Peace Corps to teach Western business practices after the breakup. Poland is badass and Russia will definitely be destroyed messing with them.

  32. Don’t worry Putin won’t attack Europe until he’s finished making you give Ukraine to him. He’s going to make you do it to buy time to save yourselves, but the disruption the fall of Ukraine will cause in the E.U. will slow you down enough that Putin will be ready first. This don’t guarantee Putin the win, but it does mean that he can maximize civilian damage, Putin seems to like doing that. History shows that you go to war with the army you have, and the army the E.U. has is Ukrainian. The E.U. must now chose to save Ukraine and have a chance of saving itself or let it fall and maybe die with it, and the choices are now not in the future, not tomorrow but now, the more they delay, the more will die. This is how close it it. Strength to Europe, Victory to Ukraine.
