I came across these profiles full of pictures of money and flex offering counterfeit goods mostly money and certificates as well as documents such as driving licences etc. They openly promote this kind of content even leaving WhatsApp numbers.
I know there are some police officers in this sub, so this is maybe something worth sharing with your colleagues from the cyber crime unit (if Luxembourg has one, no idea).
Carrying a fake purse with fake money in case of mugging is a good way to save one’s life and not part with one’s earnings—that’s one good use of fake money that is usually recommended in safety guides (to improve plausibility, a fake ID or a driving licence completes the picture). Gare area after midnight. As long as it is used as a decoy, it should be fine. The diploma thing — unacceptable.
You all do know that there is really no fraudulent docs or money being sold. They will take your real money and give you nothing.
Its a typical fake profil which will take your money and thats it xD There are thousands of them, they even advertise in facebook groups here in luxembourg showing off drugs and their snapchat names to contact them xD
you have to be really dumb to fall for this shit haha

This is exactly like those french snapchat accounts that tell you they will sell you prepaid credit cards worth thousands, whereas you only have to pay 50€.
i’m not proud of it but i tried because if its a scam, all i lose is 50 bucks, if for some reason its real, i’d have more money back.
Well obviously its a scam and they stop talking to you after you pay them and there’s no way to report them correctly.
And whatever you do, dont start bombing their DM’s saying they’re a scam and whatnot; because they will manage to have your account blocked or suspended by mass reporting your account.
Actually seems lux police is missing good peers in the cybersecurity area, so nothing will happen unless some grey hat decides to go Robin Hood on these people
