Evan Ferguson returns to the scoresheet as he aims to make an impact at West Ham.

It is becoming quite the task for West Ham to find a striker that can perform in claret and blue. Under the current ownership, very few forwards have ever hit the heights expected.

He may not have a lot of time left to prove himself. bur Evan Ferguson has a chance to break the curse.

The Irishman returned to the scoresheet for his country in their win over Bulgaria, and he’s confident that he’s in a “good place” to build upon the goal. “I am in a good place, and I feel positive mentally and physically. Everyone wants to play, so when you have your chance, you have to take the minutes as you get them,” Ferguson stated.

“I haven’t played as much football as I’d have liked this season, for a variety of reasons, but I’ll be aiming to continue this form after the international break and have a strong end to the season.”

Although injuries haven’t helped his development, at just 20-years-old people seem to forget the talent this young man has and how good of a player he could become. Given a fair opportunity, he could be a revelation at the London stadium.n
