Vietnam Airlines is set to elevate global connectivity with bold route expansions to Vietnam, Indonesia, and Italy, introducing groundbreaking nonstop services in 2025.
Vietnam Airlines has revealed its flight schedules for summer 2025 and winter 2025-26 from London Heathrow. As a prestigious five-star APEX-rated carrier, the airline will operate three nonstop flights per week to Hanoi and two weekly services to Ho Chi Minh City starting 28 April. From 26 October 2025, these flights will increase to daily frequencies, all aboard the state-of-the-art Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines will introduce nonstop flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Denpasar Bali in June, as well as a new thrice-weekly route between Milan and Hanoi in July, further enhancing connectivity from Europe to Vietnam and beyond.
Operating from Heathrow Terminal 4, Vietnam Airlines is the only carrier offering nonstop flights between the UK and Vietnam. Departures from London are timed to provide convenient overnight journeys, with seamless connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to a wide range of destinations across Vietnam, Asia, and Australasia, including Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

Starting 1 June 2025, Vietnam Airlines will launch four weekly Airbus A321 flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Denpasar Bali, increasing to seven weekly services by July 2025. This new route will mark the airline’s second direct connection between Vietnam and Indonesia, bringing the total number of weekly flights between the two nations to 14.
In July, Vietnam Airlines will make history as the first and only Vietnamese carrier to offer nonstop flights to Italy. The airline will operate three weekly Boeing 787 Dreamliner services between Hanoi and Milan, expanding its European route network to nine destinations. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines plans to introduce a new service from Ho Chi Minh City to Milan.
