Well guys, it’s seems like Poland reintroducing conscription has became another Reddit ‘fact’. Keep that in mind and treat stuff you read on Reddit as wrong unless proven otherwise…

  1. Welcome to the norm. People saying dumb shit on the internet, treating it as fact, getting upvoted for it, and then taking no accountability whatsoever when called out on it. So an unassuming, uninformed person, won’t know what to accept as fact, won’t look it up on their own, and then go with whatever was upvoted because they assume it’s correct. Rinse and repeat and now we’re here.

  2. I wonder what the “leftist” subs I’m already banned from have to say on this

  3. Still wasn’t there a change that everyone who has been on mandatory qualification for army (like getting the book and stuff) is already counted as passive reserve and private? If i’m wrong would be glad if someone could explain this to me.

“nadanie stopnia wojskowego szeregowego i przeniesienie osób podlegających stawieniu się do kwalifikacji wojskowej
    do pasywnej rezerwy.”

  4. Ah yes, if Tusk said it will be voluntary, then it means it will be. Because everyone knows that politicians never lie. Also he only said that because he saw that people are not happy with it.

  5. This kind of person will argue that your lived experience of what they read on the internet is less credible than their conviction.

  6. Posts “if I visit Poland, would I get drafted?” incoming.

  7. So the letters in the mail i got for training on april 8th are voluntary sweet, ill let my friends know that we don’t have to show up for 28 days of bullshit

  8. Yeah, people from the West (especially from America) love to talk a lot about Poland, but they often talk complete and utter bullshit.

  9. Misinformation came from the words of Tusk ( prime minister) who said that every military age man should be ready for war, and people read that as a potential conscription.

  10. I may be incorrect but it looked like he either tried to intimidate Polish redditors or was just making fun of Poland.
