Greater Manchester Police scraps troubled IT system

  1. The best thing the next government could do is centralise many, many services.

Why do we need an archaic system of one police force per county, each with it’s own procurement system? There should be a standard piece of software that covers the requirement developed on a nationwide basis.

There’s currently a long running issue in Hertfordshire about the redevelopment of some hospitals, where the local Trust and CCG have to make a case to DoH and the Treasury for money.

This is bollocks. It’s a load of managers sitting around having meetings, when the NHS should have a nationwide plan for the whole country with a set number of hospital beds per capita, within a minimum distance.

These money wasting structures prevail throughout government, and this is why yours and my taxes will be rising very soon
