Malta Squash, in collaboration with the European Squash Federation (ESF), announced that Malta will host the European Team Championships 2025 (Division 3), from April 2 to 5 at the newly inaugurated Marsa SportMalta Complex.

A total of 24 teams from 18 countries will be vying for promotion to Division 2, with 15 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams set to compete.

Participating nations include Malta, Monaco, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Portugal, Turkey, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Ukraine, and Hungary.

Malta will field both men’s and women’s teams.

The women’s selection is formed by Venita De Giorgio, Amke Fischer,  Jocelyn Lydall, Colette Sultana, and Lijana Sultana.

Brad Hindle Deguara, Niall Engerer, Julian Scerri, Duncan Stahl, Kijan Sultana and Daniel Zammit Lewis will be in the men’s selection.

Team Malta’s commitments will start on April 2 when the women’s team will take on Luxembourg at 10am and then face Turkey at 3.30pm.

The men’s selection open their commitments against Greece at 11.30am before taking on Monaco at 5pm.

The European Team Championships 2025 (Division 3) is supported by SportMalta, the Maltese Olympic Committee, Bolt Business, Scott’s Supermarket, the Malta Tourism Authority, and Astral among others.

In a statement, Malta Squash encouraged all fans to attend and cheer on the teams.  Entry is free of charge.
