In German media they said like three days or four days ago, that once the little booklet (vaccination pass) is turned into a QR-code (digitalized), it’s nearly impossible to tell if it’s a fake or not. Obviously Adolf Hitler is a fake, but not a “Christian Müller” (very very common name).
As far as I know, the best theory so far is that those “certificates” are actually screenshots from the system.
Basically an operator can create a fake certificate in the system, then screenshot it without saving. So the QR is legitimate with the correct signature, but it is actually not in the system.
Should not take too long to modify the software so it can’t be done again.
