  1. It doesn’t seem right to me that Mrs. Tserendorjis gone forever while in all likelihood he will be released as a young man (whether convicted of murder or not). Free to live his life, protected by anonymity.

  2. Honestly this case and this lady should have gotten a lot more press than it did. I couldn’t even tell you her name without looking it up and that’s not right.

  3. He should be put down. He is not going to get any better and zero to give back to society.
    We need the death penalty

  4. I was walking down abbey street a few weeks ago and as I was walking down the busy platform at Jervis I saw a teenager unpack a Stanley knife out of its packaging, extent the blade and stick it in the pocket of his jacket. I turned around and went back into the shopping centre and walked down Henry Street instead.

  5. If I remember correctly, she has two children who are now left without a mother.
Leaving your home in search of a better life for your children and get murdered like that in the capital city in broad daylight.

If a murderer gets some concurrent sentence bullshit or has sentence suspended – I hope he lives in fear, constantly checking his back.

  6. It says it all about this youth that after 3 months in custody for killing an innocent woman he was further remanded by a judge and he shouted “fucking dirty ratbag tramp” at the judge.

Sad to say but he will be back out some day, even if he takes the cowardly way out in prison it’s just a pity he had to take an innocent life before his own.

  7. This sad stories may become more common place with poverty, inflation, lack of resources and a changing moral compass. We live in very different times, it is a world situation not confined to ireland but we are sadly seeing aggression, murder, abuse, rape and crime increase in these times. Hopefully we don’t become a statistic but make changes to combat these realities.

We need education, reform and resources to combat these crimes.

  8. Dublin is one of the scariest cities in the EU. Gangs of adidas uniforms patrolling the streets like vigilantes. You try to ignore them but you never know when they’re going to suddenly turn on you.

  9. This happened in our CBD and not too far from a 24 hour garda checkpoint. This should have been a wake up call.

  10. They stabbed her in the neck, they murdered her, it would be great if they would go to a juvenile detention centre until they can be transferred to adult prison for a total of a 30 year sentence, but that is wishful thinking.

  11. More than 20 witnesses are due to be called and the trial is expected to last up to eight days.

Why will it take 8 days and why do 20 people have to testify and risk any repercussions from his scummy friends, if he has already admitted it.

Just give him the suspended sentence and tell him to try and not do it again.

  12. My Brazilian ex girlfriend who lived up in Fairview said that she felt more threatened by Irish youths than any other group she’d encounter at home. She’s from Rio.

I went to a birthday party not long ago pretty much post-covid – some loud club, restaurant, pub, whatever it was trying to be – on SW street and when I went to get out money, I never felt so detached by how grim the setup was for a Saturday night. Ambulances and Paddy Wagons pretty much on standby almost waiting for something dangerous to happen.

I’m not a fan of cities, but Jesus when I went to the likes of Cork and Galway, I had my eyes opened as to how bad Dublin really is in comparison.

Hope this murderer gets an appropriate sentence and this lady’s family some day finds peace.

  13. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out he gets a minimal sentence, because you know difficult upbringing, and then walks free in a few years time to put a few more conviction notches on his belt like number 100 or so. Beat the precious record and all.

Look on the bright side, we might actually get into the Guinness Book of World Records for having a person with 200 convictions walk free.

  14. This poor woman didn’t deserve that. He needs to be jailed for life. But this has been going on for years

Remember a few years back that poor innocent Spanish student who was in the city centre and a guy got chatting to her and brought her somewhere and tied her up in a tent and raped her multiple times and threatened to kill her. She was lucky to escape with her life and I’m sure she carrys that with her everyday.
Something seriously needs to be done with the city centre and the lawless scumbags roaming the streets.
