  23. This blaming Obama and Biden ordeal is getting really fucking old. MAGA has the presidency, congress and a slight conservative tilt in the Supreme Court.   26. The breathtakingly stunning thing is how they have repeatedly perjured themselves despite the fact that multiple parties and the public have the receipts to the truth of this. Beyond our Justice system now having the full accounting of what happened and the fact they also know what Ratcliffe is saying is wholly untrue (and easily verifiable), the Senate now has all the receipts and the totality of this occurrence is now in the public sphere.

    Why are they lying when EVERYONE knows the truth? It would be one thing if the entirety of this situation hadn’t leaked, if the journalist only had a partial involvement and recollection of facts, then one could create a lie and act suspect to the situation to cast doubt. That is not the case here. Everyone involved has a damning level of evidence against them to the point that there is no way or potential for a lie to save them, they’re all probably false, and again, easily so.

    The Senate is about to have a field day on national television with these people. The Judiciary is also going to have a field day. This is one scandal that can’t be distracted from or covered up. The media and the public are not letting it go, just look at how quickly people sniffed out the BS about new auto tariffs and the EO Trump signed on voting, people shrugged and went “We’re onto you, we know you’re trying to shift focus away from this but nuh-uh, not this time.” People shrugged and went “meh, another Tuesday, but what about this massive intel leak and glaring national security issue? What about the fact that if you use Signal for this, you’re using it for just about everything to circumvent the Presidential Records Act. What are you guys hiding?”

    This all makes them pants-shittingly nervous, and makes Trumps life harder. The tactics for distraction are not working on this, and this could be THE issue that forces a crack into the damn here. Look at Trump throwing more and more ridiculous shit at the wall just this week: beyond the voting EO, beyond the auto tariffs, now he’s telling JD Vance to get Greenland ASAP by any means necessary. It’s clear the smarter heads and handlers are panicking and having Trump as their puppet throw shit at the wall to “flood the zone” but it’s not working. People remember the Trump 1.0 admin and they ramped up the insanity too fast this time around. The jig is up now and people are catching on.

    Even if Trump flouts the law and causes a Constitutional Crisis over this (likely), this will be the absolute dumbest and worst one to ignite that on because it’s so damningly one-sided and the average American can understand it’s bad. I think this particular fuck up is terminal for this administration and will haunt them for as long as they’re in power. It also may give just enough cover to the House and Senate Republicans that want Trump gone, the ones who are secretly not okay with Trump and scared of him, cover to impeach and convict finally.

    All of this hopeful but this event is moving very differently for Trump and his admin than anything else, this feels closer to the Jan 6 emotions and fallout than anything and I suspect will start to be hyped up to that level of betrayal of the American trust here shortly by Democrats, some select Republicans and the media.

    At this point, I do not care what Biden did because it doesn’t affect any of us (even if I believed he had anything to do with this, which is already ludacris). Trump has actively dismantled everything else Biden did anyway.

    Trump’s cabinet members made the chat. They are responsible for how it was done, who was in it, and what was said. There are clear guidelines for how these communications need to be done- following them is their responsibility.

    I would suggest all of these people grow tf up and start acting like adults. They fucked up. Trying not to own up is making them look more pathetic. It is very clear why things like dei scare these people because an even playing field would not allow someone as stupid as them to get ahead. Dei is the enemy of the mediocre who needs to be born lucky to stay ahead and do not have the skills or intelligence to do it on skill alone.

  38. Signal was authorized by some departments for sending unclassified, non-sensitive information that wasn’t subject to the Federal Records Act. Signalgate involves information that is classified, sensitive, AND subject to the Federal Records Act.
