Energy saving lightbulbs are not going to cut it when gas prices go up by a factor of 5.
When you’re working all the hours, cut back on everything and tighten the belt up past your neck, what more can you do?

If the solution is Government intervention… Then we are fucked.
But we are on step closer to major rioting outside of Downing Street.
Still averse to telling people to ditch the car, I understand.

There is enough money to go around, but a decade of Tory incompetence and greed has funnelled more and more money from the working class to the already rich.

I think what pisses me off the most about this entire situation is – why are we so selective about things?
Food prices increase? Its to be expectedd

Rent increase? Its to be expected
NI, income tax increases? Its expected
We have to pay back all the debt.
5% pay rise? We absolutely cannot do that. Inflation is already 5%, that would tank the economy!
Amazing how literally everything else can skyrocket yet council tax, NI, income tax all go up too and the only thing that would ‘break the economy’ is actually paying people more while companies like BP profited 12 billion last year and 5-10 billion debt can be ‘wiped off’
We need a Guy Fawkes day, that will warm things rather quickly
Just build more wind turbines and solar panels. [Sarcasm]

When you have CPI and yearly price increases of 4%/10% for your monthly bills, this can’t be sustainable at all.
Council tax up, income tax up, gas/electric up, mobile and broadband bills up, petrol/diesel up, water rates up, student loan repayments up, food prices up. Entertainment up.
I honestly don’t know why this is all allowed but wages stay the same.
The elite are fine, we are fucked. Nothing new here!
