Remember, every accusation is a concession when it comes to Israel.
Rape in the name of god, human shields, beheaded children, etc.
In a few years when everyone will have always opposed the genocide, many genocide cheerleaders will be in the receipts and you will not be forgotten.
The worst recent example of Israel using Palestinian civilians as human shields was the 80-year-old man who they attached explosives to around his neck and sent him into buildings for eight hours.
The elderly man and his wife had been unable to flee due to mobility issues, [he walked with a cane](https://www.972mag.com/gaza-human-shield-mosquito/).
The IDF later shot him and his wife dead.
Imagine the coverage these atrocities would get if another state was conducting itself with such barbaric savagery. But Israel gets a free pass as much of the Western media and many people don’t treat Palestinians as human beings.
For many alive right now, this is the genocide that will characterise our generation.
Nothing good Israel did will be remembered, instead we will collectively remember Israel’s genocide as their legacy.
EDIT: it’s okay to admit that Israel has had some good contributions. Nazi Germany for example had many breakthroughs in healthcare and science, especially in physics and passed many laws against animal cruelty. they built the autobahn and pulled German economy out of a recession. But noone cares about that and slowly noone will care about Israel’s either.
This has always been the case, people just tend to have a short memory. In 2005, The High Court of Israel had to order the IDF to cease using Palestinians as human shields–finding that it had done so in contravention of international law more than 1000 times. (The IDF petitioned the court to keep using the tactic, arguing that it was essential to its military operations.)
