There’s no reason to beat around the bush on this: Trump’s Ukraine plan is literally just to make Ukraine an American colony. He’s trying to divide up the country with Russia like Germany did with Poland.

2. You’re putting boots on the ground in a colony, when it’s your colony. Trump’s not making Ukraine a colony. There are perfectly functioning tools in modern discourse for making colonies and calling it helping out a friendly democracy in need, and to the extent that this is in some significant degree a win win proposition, there doesn’t need to be something wrong with it.

   Only trump’s not making colonies, he’s imposing on Ukraine a deal they can’t not refuse, because the putin/grima character is whispering in his brain addled ear a path to Ukraine being left out to dry rather than split, so that the grima/putin character can eat it all up himself.

3. No one in their right mind will not sign this deal.

4. Ukraine will have to refuse this deal. This gives Trump ammunition to start supporting Putin fully out in the open.

5. What did you think Trump’s plan to stop the war was? Help Ukraine get Crimea back?

   You were constantly told that’s exactly what’s going to happen, Trump will push Ukraine to negotiate and try to get money back from Ukraine. And you still act surprised when it happens.

   Let me guess, next thing you are going to go mad about is Ukraine not joining NATO and not having NATO peacekeepers on it’s territory? Like if it has not been explained to you already?

6. Very simply call that dick heads bluff, sure we will sign this upon the removal of all Russian troops from sovereign Ukrainian land.

   Make the US either say no or let them do it and then change the goal posts and say nah we are good.

   It’s not like the US honours it’s agreements, why should anyone to them.

10. What even is this “deal”, in its princple? I mean, Ukraine is not the party to make concessions here – russia is the sole aggressor, waging war, unprovoked. The only deal we should be talking about is what concessions russia has to make in order for maybe some of the sanctions to be reconsidered, starting with ceding all of the captured territory.

    The proposed deal is not a peace treaty, it’s a capitulation treaty. It punishes the victim.
