I presume hospitals were checked? Even if, might be worth another call?
My friend’s husband was in hospital after bike accident, in induced coma (for a couple of days). Meantime she called police, hospitals etc etc for a missing person – they said no one like this in the system.
Ultimately it was down to the fact that while she was looking for a missing person with a name/surname, he was logged as ‚John Doe cycling incident’ in the system, and no one bothered to cross check until he woke up, if he is that missing person.
