  1. Most likely done by an idiotic child than an actual Nazi…

  2. It’s another case of “I’m 14 & I think this is deep”

  3. I wonder if the recency bias of all the talk of nazis makes it seem worse – there’s always been these idiotic scrawlings, but we might just be noticing them more.

  4. Glad we’re at a stage where this feels so out of place. As a kid there were particular areas of London you could bet you’d see NF or swastika etchings or stickers for far-right organisations.

  5. Wouldn’t call it common no. How many of these do you see a week OP?

  6. I don’t think people are actually nazis, they just do it cuz they think its funny

  7. It’s probably kids being edgelords. I highly doubt any of us went to a school where kids didn’t scratch shit like this onto tables because they thought it was funny. It didn’t make them actual Nazis.

  8. 4 more scratches and you’ve got a windows logo. Tourists are going to think we’re all Microsoft fanboys and fangirls.

  9. “Never attribute to malice that which is easy explained by stupidity”.

Kids were doing this shit back in my day, very edgy.

  10. Obviously any amount is bad but I see way less of these than I used to, along with BNP and NF tags. Get your key out and turn it into a window.

  11. should have grown up in the 70s they were bloody everywhere. Most of the time the morons doing it fk them up.

  12. I saw this, and a racist epithet, scratched on the door of a Northern line train last week. I reported it to TfL and they had it removed. I think it’s just idiotic teenagers who don’t know any better, at least I hope so.

  13. “Becoming” is a bit of a stretch, 15 years ago I remember seeing swastikas spray painted on walls pretty commonly. If anything they’re way less common now.

  14. “Driver didn’t care”
What did you expect him to do?

  15. This has been in walls 20 years ago and it will continue to be on walls and surfaces a kid can get their hand to

  16. Becoming? Everyone is acting like this shit wasn’t around before. There have always been twats in this country scrawling swastikas everywhere. It’s how they get to feel edgy or project their fear

  17. It’s a Hindu good luck symbol. The Nazi version was rotated 45 degrees

  18. Someone carved a swastika into one of the lifts in my appartment building. We reckon it was one of the Uber eats guys — lift camera caught a lad in a crash helmet doing it.

  19. My guy if you grew up in London you saw way more of those in the 90s than nowadays

  20. Someone needs to sharpen their pocket knife, that looks sloppy

  21. I’ve not seen it anywhere tbh, I do recall a big swastika in an alleyway near us in the 2000s.

I can’t say I’ve noticed a rise in nazi graffiti so, I would lean towards same old shite.

  22. This is just kids being dumb. They’ve done this forever. People are just pearl clutches now.

  23. Kids will be kids. That’s always been common graffiti

  24. It probably just a stupid child, however, in the current climate I wouldn’t bet on it.
