Meghan Markle or Meghan Sussex – however you prefer to call her – is reportedly hoping to join the coveted billionaires’ club.
Apart from rolling out a seemingly successful lifestyle series (With Love, Meghan), a lifestyle brand under construction (As Ever), and yet another podcast (Confessions of a Female Founder) – the Duchess of Sussex has now launched a shopping website under her name as well from where one can shop ‘her looks’. And as her new business ventures begin to take shape, as per The Telegraph, the ‘Suits’ alum is “convinced” that her net worth will grow accordingly. A well-placed source told The Telegraph that the former working royal “thinks she’s going to be a billionaire” — and that the team she’s assembled will no doubt help her get there.

The stairway to the billionaires’ club!

After an unsuccessful tryst with the ‘Archetypes’ podcast, and a rather applause-garnering documentary of her love story with Prince Harry and the journey afterward, Meghan Markle came back to the limelight with her lifestyle series ‘With Love, Meghan’ early this year. Although the lifestyle series has been received with mixed reviews, it has been renewed for a second season and Meghan has already announced her next venture – yet again, a podcast, ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’, which she announced via Instagram.

After a few hiccups in the beginning, it seems like Meghan Markle has managed to find a fairly stable ground with ‘With Love, Meghan’. Her latest lifestyle series that premiered on an OTT platform, navigates her not-so-subtle luxurious lifestyle (with Prince Harry and kids) with the hostess energy and a pursuit of joy. On that lifestyle series, which has been renewed for the second season after having a seemingly successful maiden season, Meghan shared her tips and tricks for cooking the most basic dishes and garnishing almost everything with dried flower sprinkles while correcting guests about her very confusing surname.
Now, her next venture, the podcast ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’, is set to drop its first episode in early April. The preview of the show is already out with the mother of two indulging in some ‘girl talk’! The same preview clip shows Meghan saying that her podcast will advise listeners on how to turn “small ideas into billion-dollar businesses” with the help of some girl boss guests.
Looks like the Duchess of Sussex is really serious about her financial goal!

Let’s call a spade, a spade! The former American actress, although she has boasted about her Hollywood celebrity status several times before she got married into the British Royal Family, has only a few substantial acting gigs to her name. Apart from being a series regular on ‘Suits’, Meghan has hardly had a noteworthy screen presence.

However, that hasn’t stopped her from chasing the gold.
As of March 2025, Meghan Markle is estimated to be worth $60 million.
When she started dating Prince Harry, she reportedly was ‘shocked’ to have found out that he was not a billionaire.
As per The Times, one source close to the situation even put it this way, “She expected a billionaire and she got a millionaire,” adding, “When Meghan discovered that Harry was only worth about £20 million, she realised she needed to reassess other assumptions she’d made about this strange new family.”

Life after the royal stint!

Despite the ‘disappointment’, Meghan said ‘I do’ to Prince Harry in 2018 and after marrying her ‘H’, the couple announced in early 2020 that they were stepping down as Senior Royals. In doing so, they relinquished their titles as HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) but were allowed to keep the titles of Sussex Royals. Since then, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved to California, and now live in Montecito with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
