  3. Where did you find most of your responses coming from? Did it seem like networking had a meaningful impact on your response rate?

  4. It’s fucking bullshit that ghosting is now the norm in job and internship hunting. I can’t imagine sending out 78 apps for an internship. In 2009-2010, I applied for internships for two summers, and I sent out 3-5 apps and heard back from every one of them. It’s ridiculous that it’s typical to not hear from over 50% of applications.
