Riviera Travel is set to expand its holiday offerings next year with an exciting collection of seasonal river cruises, showcasing Europe’s most charming Christmas markets along the Seine, Rhine, and Danube rivers. Adding to the festivities, the company will also introduce three eight-day culinary-themed journeys along the Rhine, Moselle, and Seine.

Among the highlights of the new holiday cruises are the five-day Magical Paris & Festive Seine River Cruise, departing and returning to the French capital; the Enchanting Rhine and Yuletide Markets River Cruise, operating roundtrip from Cologne; and the seven-day Christmas on the Danube, which begins and ends in the heart of Budapest.

Riviera Travel’s upcoming culinary cruises promise immersive gourmet experiences across Central Europe, with carefully curated itineraries packed with regional flavors and cultural highlights.

One standout journey is the Gastronomy of the Danube, a river cruise that sails through Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria. This itinerary features 15 guided experiences, including apple strudel tastings at Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace, wine sampling in the scenic Wachau Valley, and market tours in Budapest. Guests will enjoy wine tastings in Bernkastel and Rüdesheim, along with a visit to the Koblenz Sparkling Wine Museum. Sailings for this itinerary are scheduled between April and August.

The Gastronomy of the Seine river cruise is set to spotlight the rich flavors of Normandy, offering a curated culinary journey through northern France. Travelers will enjoy 13 immersive experiences, including indulging in Parisian macarons, savoring wine and cheese pairings at the elegant Château de Bizy, and taking part in a live onboard demonstration of the classic tarte Tatin. This gourmet voyage is available from April to October 2026.
