BRIDGEPORT — The Aviation Education Elimination Dinner, held on Saturday, March 8 at the Bridgeport Conference Center, brought together members of the community, supporters and industry leaders in an evening where they had a chance to invest in the future of Pierpont Community & Technical College’s aviation education program.

The event raised $20,536 through sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and raffle contributions. The funds will directly benefit Pierpont’s Aviation Maintenance Technology Program by providing scholarships, covering students’ FAA certification fees and equip graduates with the tools and training they need to thrive in their aviation careers.
