Zimbru Stadium is set to host the exciting mid-week matchup between Moldova and Estonia on Tuesday in FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifying action. Estonia heads into the meeting as the second-to-last placed team in the Group I standings following a defeat in the opening match of the qualifying campaign. The Estonian national team paid a visit to Israel on Saturday at Nagyerdei Stadium. Maksim Paskotsi broke the deadlock just 10 minutes into the match against the Israeli team when he found the back of the net for Estonia. Then, 13 minutes later, Karl Hein hit the ball into his own net to equalize for Israel. The two teams held onto the 1-1 scoreline through the halftime break.
