  1. One-man regime, Mr Erdogan is dragging the country into disaster. Mr Ekrem became the mayor of Istanbul with 4.5 million Istanbul votes. The will of the people is being usurped

  2. These protests are 100% another colour revolution with CIA written all over it. I agree that arresting opposition figures is wrong but the way things are spiralling out of control has all telltale signs of being funded from outside. And one only needs to see the tussle in Syria to find out the actual reason for this.

  3. What a joke, you never see this scene somewhere else except in Middle East ! Someone arrested over serious allegations, people forcing whole streets to sectarian violence and demanding to release him

  4. We are experiencing the devastating effects of a major democracy crisis and symptoms of power intoxication in our country. However, the Turkish people are strong and will preserve their unity and solidarity, never forgetting these injustices.

  5. Dont get why Erdogan feel the need to to this.
He won the last election, in a pretty fair way, the next one election will be in 2028. He will be 74 after been in power since 2003.
I mean, when enough is enough? Let the country move forward and enjoy your old age.

  6. We want democracy and a country rule of law.

If the world, especially the American president, had taken a stance on this issue, they would not have dared to do so.

  7. Scammers everywhere, price gouging and high cost of living. Istanbul has been an absolute disaster. I say good riddance of this mayor. People of Istanbul seemed a**holes compared to other cities in Turkey. Their protests mean nothing

  8. All the country's elites and almost all citizens with different views are either terrorists or members of armed criminal organizations. In Türkiye, where almost all of the press is under government control, nothing can be spoken about or learned. Party leaders are in prison, Türkiye's founding main opposition political party is about to be shut down by the government. Important think tanks are either in prison or under heavy political pressure. For example, in Italy, the artists of the series you watch with pleasure cannot say anything against the government because they know they could be arrested tomorrow. Important managers of the country's artists are in prison to keep the artists under pressure. New lawsuits are on the way against 5,000 Kurdish citizens who talk about the Kurdish initiative. The police force, the military and the judiciary are completely under the control of the government and they do what they are told with orders from a single source. Tayyip Erdoğan has already said that he will not comply with the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights. He himself has also announced that the decisions of the Constitutional Court, the country's highest judicial institution, will not be complied with. All the newly appointed members and the fact that the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors has completely been taken over by the government has left the judiciary completely dysfunctional. The courts in the country have no validity other than a complete set-up. Political prisoners, all thinkers whose ideas are not liked in any way, are imprisoned by secret witnesses (people who have some gaps that they can easily control) or active repentants (people who accept to be slanderers as a result of the incredible pressure created by keeping them in the police department for a long time and thinking that they will spend years in prison). Union leaders are either in prison or under heavy pressure. You do not prove the falsehood of the slanders thrown at you in the courts. Because they are not true. The courts, on the other hand, do not make any effort to prove the crime. In fact, it is enough for you to go to prison with the slanders thrown at you. Even the astrologer who said that a party leader would die soon was imprisoned. Everything in the country is based on a lie. The statistical institution declares the inflation as 40% in an environment with 100% inflation by order and instruction. The television monitoring institution RTUK decides what will or will not be broadcast on television programs. Its members are in the majority of the government and act under the orders of Tayyip Erdoğan. The Directorate of Communications, which is affiliated with the presidency, tries to control all communication with a heavier pressure than the Goebbels propaganda ministry, which operates like a party institution and tells the press it controls how to spread information and disinformation. There is nothing left except daily fake news. Laughing is forbidden, having fun is forbidden, drinking is indirectly forbidden due to high taxes. It is forbidden to have your own opinion. But the government has plundered all the underground and aboveground resources of the country using Islam. There is much more that can be written about what the 20-year AKP rule has done to beautiful Türkiye and the Turkey of beautiful people, but this is all for now.
