SS: Since the Oct 7 attacks a remarkable amount of anti-Israel bias has come to the surface among (so called) multinational human rights organizations, leading to a widespread collapse in the credibility of many of these formerly respected organizations such as Amnesty International and Humans Rights Watch.

   The author interviewed staffers and officials from across the world through all of the largest activist organizations, documenting the silencing of reports that go against the official narrative and the burying of evidence of crimes committed by Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations.

   The politicization and bias of these organizations has been warned against for the past decade, but this article really brings troves of evidence to show how radical the shift has been since the Hamas-led Oct 7 attack on Israel.

11. What doesn’t help the situation is the constant use of the claim of “antisemitism” (why it isn’t just ‘racisim’ also? Why the need for a special Semitic-only favour of racism) for criticism of the state of Israel – a geopolitical entity largely acting on the decisions of a small subset of the population and having nothing to do with ethnicity.

    There’s a deliberate conflation there that antagonises potential allies and turns them to cynics.
