23. I worked for a defense contractor and I had a clearance. Late on a Friday afternoon, I left work to drive home. As I got close to home, I realized I had forgotten to lock a cabinet in my office. So immediately I raced back to the office to lock the cabinet. All weekend long, I had severe anxiety thinking about having to tell my boss that I may have committed a security violation.

    99.999% of the people with security clearances would end up in a Federal prison if they committed a violation like Hegseth’s.
