The Ukrainian creative company TRI.Direction are staging Laura Thorn’s performance for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Speaking to the Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne, Laura Thorn has confirmed that TRI.Direction are staging her performance for the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland. In the interview, Laura confirms that there will be changes from her performance of “La poupĂ©e monte le son” in the Luxembourgish national selection.

TRI.Direction have past involvement with the Eurovision Song Contest, for the 2023 contest in Liverpool they created the performance between Alyosha and Rebecca Ferguson where they sung “Ordinary World”. This year the team also worked on the full production of the Luxembourg Song Contest, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Laura Thorn will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with “La poupĂ©e monte le son”. She was chosen to represent Luxembourg after winning the Luxembourg Song Contest 2025. She will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 15.

Luxembourg was one of seven countries to take part in the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. Luxembourg participated in the contest 37 times before withdrawing from the contest after 1993. During these 37 years, they won the contest five times. The last of these victories came in 1983. Luxembourg came close to returning to the contest in 2004. However, they opted against it due to the financial cost of participating. They eventually returned in 2024, after an absence of 31 years.
